Just looked at a friends facebook pics from a recent trip to Santorini and am now thinking about a future trip and researching . Planning a Greece/ Italy trip for 3 weeks in 2014 ( turning the big 50 - yikes) and this thread is exactly what I need. Also not sure how to go? Small cruise ship for part of it( never did a cruise before and worried about the " herding" aspect) or book and do our own thing? Glad to here about the May June being the best time- we were thinking late June. Also great to see some fellow TTOL BVIers on this forum too.
