there should be several excellent check lists for the skipper, to understand all of the vessels systems, and make sure that all of the crew and passengers are famiiar .

Also, are you going to rotate the cooking duties among the passengers, and crew so that no one is obligated every night to cook dinners for everyone. Or will you add on a combined cook, bartender, and crew person.

Are you going to fully provision and have all of those delivered to the vessel before you sail. All of that will have to be securely stowed for passages.

You need to personally ask each and every person if they have any medical problems and if they are taking any presecriptions, or use any medical aids.
