Great Cruz is all private moorings. A couple of decent anchoring spots near the entrance on the south side but probably one of the nastiest mud bottoms I have ever anchored it.
Not sure what the protocol is post Irma but we used to nudge the keel into the mud left side of the creek to wait for a ferry to clear then pull in to the C&I dock. Clearance was easy but all crew had to appear. I heard they charge for using the dock now. If you dinghy in from another bay be nice. I watched them make a real horses patuti dinghy back to Caneel Bay and bring his boat in.
