I think that US officials are pretty sure that there are now more infections happening on ship, from people re-infecting each other, OR, as you say, from the crew infecting them. The crew have not been quarantined from each other at ALL, and are still fixing food and delivering it to the passengers. Horrible situation. I guess I still don't understand why people can't actually be TESTED before you put them on the planes to come home. I agree that some people will probably get infected on the plane on the way home, but at this point, you almost have to take that chance, if you're on the ship, as it is not safe to stay on the ship, it seems pretty obvious to me. I think travel insurance would probably pay for the health needs of those who have been diagnosed and are in hospital, but no travel insurance that I am aware of covers loss of income.
