I travel to the USVI frequently - not sure I would want to leave my dinghy on the beach at Salt Pond completely unattended while I was in Coral Bay for several hours having dinner but that just me…..
*** is there a place/beach you would feel comfortable to leave your dinghy on the beach at -- completely unattended for several hours ???

The only place we have left a dinghy completely unattended on STJ (we don’t sail around STT) is Cruz Bay dinghy dock where we lock it. All other places it is in plain sight while we are on the beach. Yes, my perception is that St John is safer than many areas but it still would make me uncomfortable but to each their own.
