Royal Caribbean Serenity of the Seas is in the Philipsburg port today. After tropical storm Earl started moving away from sxm, the southern swell brought in lots of sargassum and did some erosion to beaches. This morning at Great Bay, they are using a front end loader to remove some of the seaweed from the beach near the lounge chairs for the cruise ship beach goers. Looks like those who take the trip to Maho Beach will be hard-pressed to find a place to stand or sit.
