We visited the SVI in January and February, and we're back for a 3rd visit this season. Currently anchored in Bahia de La Chiva. Feels like Dewey and Esperanza are back to pre-Irma days. They've built new food stalls at Playa Flamenco, but as of January they had not opened and there were just two food trucks operating. Mamacita's in Dewey has been very busy each of the 3 times we've eaten there - we arrive 1 hr before sunset to beat the rush.
There were lots more cruisers in Culebra this week than in Jan & Feb, but certainly not crowded. We shared Almodovar with one other boat. Vieques has been nearly empty of boats aside from 6 Puerto Rican sport fishing boats that rafted in La Chiva for the weekend. I did not see any charterers in either Culebra or Vieques.
