Standard practice is to use the cleats on the hulls. Run the lines outside and in front of the hulls. Chafing point is only lines to fiberglass/gelcoat.
Run two lines, each out to the ball and back from each hull. Don’t run one line through ball and to the other side. That is the real point of chafing.
Bridle is for anchor chain. Some private cats have a separate bridle for moorings, but not on charter cats.
