I agree with asking your insurance company to be sure, but don't accept their answer without researching for yourself. I was told my policy covered me in St. Maarten, but when I read the clause in the policy that my agent cited, it clearly stated I was covered only in US territories. I did check many years ago. I should probably check again to ensure policies have not changed without my notice.
