I have never had security ask me about my meds, but do NOT!!!!! under any circumstance, put them in checked bags!!! Very bad idea. Couldn't hurt to have a paper copy of the prescription(s) from your pharmacist, if you're not keeping them in the original bottles. I think TSA regs SAY you're supposed to keep them in the original bottles, but from my experience, anyone that takes more than one medication, they don't do that.
