I've been using this recipe for at least 40 yrs. and have added it to my grandsons 'Grandma's Cookbook' and thought I'd share. This is great for N.Y.Eve or any other time, for that matter. For a special treat add a liqueur of your choice. Enjoy! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />
Grandmas Chocolate Fondue 2 large Hershey's Bars 2 Cups whipping cream 4 ounces cream cheese (don't use fat free, it doesn't melt) 1/2 milk In a saucepan over med. heat- heat cream. Blend in cream cheese. When well blended add broken up Hershey's bars. Add mile when all is smooth. At this point you could add 2 tablespoons of light rum or Grand Marnier. Transfer to fondue pot. Dip pieces of pound cake, bananas, strawberries or any other fruit you like. This can also be poured over ice cream. Yumma!!
