Have been making this recipe for years...definite crowd pleaser.

Marinated Flank Steak
Serves 4 to 6

2 to 2.5 lb flank steak
1/2 C soy sauce
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 C canola oil
1/4 C brown sugar
3 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced or chopped
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients in gallon zip lock bag. Mix well add steak. Seal bag well and massage the steak in the marinade. Leave sealed in plastic bag and place in a vessel for 24 hours or longer. The longer this sits, the better it tastes! 48 hours works for me. I turn and massage whenever I remember.

I am making both Contessa's Bourbon-Marinated Flank steak and this one for a party on Sunday...will let you know if there is a preferred flank steak recipe.
