Appears there was a bad accident on airport road this afternoon. While eating at Pineapple Pete's, an ambulance passed and then returned about 30 minutes later. We headed back to the Maho area but hit stopped traffic before we got to the bridge. At first thought it was a bridge opening but even after getting over the bridge, it took almost an hour to make it back to Maho. We saw a vehicle in front of one of the car rental places next to the airport that had its front completely caved in. Looked like there was some sort of serious headon collision. Hope no one was seriously injured but it looked pretty bad.

Kim and I had just picked up a car from Leslie and got stuck heading away from the airport. Took about 45 minutes for us to clear the traffic. We saw the car at the rental place. Air bags has gone off as well. We also thought that it was amazing no one else had an accident. Quads and motorcycles zooming by in wrong lane and ducking back into correct lane or into parking lot at last second when met by an oncoming vehicle.
