Pic here: http://www.tablespoon.com/assets/recipe/158577_823___Selected.jpg (if someone knows how to post this pic, please let me know how...thanks <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Makes: 18 Jelly Shots

Ingredients

* 1 cup mango nectar
* 2 tbsp frozen limade concentrate - thawed
* 2 tbsp water
* 2 envelopes plain gelatin
* 3/4 cup mandarin flavored vodka
* 1/4 cup Cointreau or Triple Sec
* mango segments for garnish, if desired

Directions

1. Pour mango nectar, lime concentrate and water into a small saucepan and sprinkle with gelatin. Allow gelatin to soak for a few minutes.
2. Heat on low, stirring constantly, until gelatin is fully dissolved (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
3. Stir in the vodka and Cointreau, making sure to fully incorporate.
4. Pour into pan, and refrigerate until fully set, several hours or overnight.
5. To serve, cut into squares, place in candy paper or mini cupcake papers. Cut small pieces of the mango segments for garnish, if desired

Thanks for bringing this post forward! It inspired us so much that we made 200+ assorted shots for a Bachelorette Weekend our daughter hosted recently - I think we had as much fun making them as they did consuming them!

We did NOT get as fancy as the Test Kitchen in the original post, but got ideas and tips from there and other sites we found. I won’t put full recipes, rather just give you a brief rundown… (some were vodka, some rum and, of course, one was Tequila…)

We started with:
Lemon Drop – rimmed with sugar, tiny lemon wedge
Margarita – rimmed w/ salt, tiny lime wedge
Mojito – with chopped fresh mint

Then she made simpler ones that coordinated jello flavor with fresh fruit added:
Berry Blue – w/fresh blueberries!
Purple Passion - grapes
Cherry
Watermelon

They were beautiful and definitely a made a hit with these young women! Again, thanks to OP - we never would've thought of it otherwise.
