I'm thinking, that quote from the highest authority about says it all.
With reference to Samaritans Purse, I didn't know for sure if it could be done, but in reading their home page they state your donations can be specifically earmarked for a given disaster and only when donations in excess of the disasters needs are given will the monies then be applied to other disasters.
Not to say there aren't other good causes who would appreciate our monetary donations but again, there is no doubt where and how and by whom my cash donation will be handled. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
