Welcome to Our Site!<br><br>Our site is an online community. And part of what adds to that sense of community is the fact that the members here can become much more than simply a username.<br><br>You may have noticed, if you click on a username here, you view that user's profile. Basic information about themselves like location, hobbies, interests etc...<br><br>Nobody likes clicking on a username and finding an empty profile, so to add to everyone's experience, please take a brief moment to add some general information to your profile. We don't need your Social Security number and blood types of your first born, just some basic information, so that you may become more than simply a "username" in our community.<br><br>To Edit Your Profile:<br><br>- Click "My Home" at the top of the screen.<br><br>- Scroll to the bottom and click "Edit" next to "Personal Information, email, password etc..."<br><br>- Here you can change and enter basic information about yourself:<br><br>---- Change your password (enter it twice)<br><br>---- Email Address for Administrative Use - this email address is NOT visible to members, it is only used by the site Admins should you forget your password, or if you set any of the options to receive notifications to new messages and replies via email.<br><br>---- Email Address (displayed on posts) - this email address will appear in YOUR profile and will be visable to others.<br><br>---- Full Name - some people prefer to give just a first name, and that's fine.<br><br>---- Signature - will appear at the bottom of every post you make. <br><br>---- Homepage - if you've got a web page, enter it here. DO NOT Include the "http"<br><br>---- Occupation - tell us what you do when you're not surfing our site.<br><br>---- Hobbies - what else do you like to do?<br><br>---- Geographic Location - please give us some general location information. The internet has users from all across the globe, it's nice to have a general idea of where everyone is from.<br><br>---- Bio - tell us a little about yourself.<br><br>---- ICQ number - if you're on ICQ, enter your number here, and your ICQ status will be shown in the Who's Online screen and User List.<br><br>---- Your Picture URL - enter the remote URL to your face pic or Avatar. This URL should end in .gif, .jpg or .png. Be sure to include the "http".<br><br>---- If you'd like to upload your face pic or Avatar to our server, click "Browse" and select an image from your hard drive.<br><br>---- Do you want to be Visible? - If you say yes here, you will appear to users in the Who's Online screen.<br><br>---- Do you want users to see the actual post/forum you are looking at? - If you say yes here, users can see and hyperlink to what post/forum you are looking at from the Who's Online screen.<br><br>---- Accept Private Messages from users? - If you say yes here, you'll be able to use our Private Message system (from the My Home screen) to receive private messages from other users. Private Messages are sort of like private emails here on our site.<br><br>- When you have finished editing your profile, click "Submit".<br><br>- If you wish to see how your profile looks, simply click on your username next to a post.<br>
