A resident on the French Side took these amazing pictures: https://www.facebook.com/JayLebonreflex/...e=3&theaterThe pictures include Marigot, Grand Case, Cul-de-Sac, Orient Village, Le Piment, etc. He also took pictures of the Dutch Side: Philipsburg, etc. The amount of destruction is beyond words. Everyone in this TTOL group wants St. Maarten/St. Martin to recover as quickly as possible. It will just take time...

They were posted by him yesterday. No dates as to when they were taken but the French military is present when they were taken.

I think the French military was present very soon after the storm. Just wanted to know if they are relatively recent pictures.

The superb photography makes the disaster almost beautiful.
I think there's a sale on used sailboats.

in the one picture Momo commented that where the container is ...is where Ti Buchon used to be
in the picture of the ship it says it took 23 days to arrive
so from the comments on the photos I am assuming they are fairly recent.

Or the ship picture could be recent and some of the others earlier. No way of knowing without a date stamp.
