Anyone who has access to Facebook may be interested in the video updates from Sint Maarten being posted on the Facebook page of the American University of the Caribbean. A recent (November 21) video post by Tiffany Ciolek includes a stroll through the Maho area, from the pharmacy to Sunset Bar and Grill. The video gives you a good idea of what's open and what's closed, and shows how little sand is left at Maho Beach. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/aucmed/

The sand coming and going at Maho is a regular happening and usually several times a year. Not to minimize the destruction from the hurricane but the sand will return in due time and probably to the extent it will cover the road and then people will complain about that.
Thank you for the videos. It is good to see the progress and places back to doing business.

Agreed, the sand comes and goes. To me, it was good to see so many places up and running, or close to opening, according to her report.

Yes, I had not heard that before, that they would reopen in April. Not saying it's wrong, but hadn't heard that before.
