I e-mailed them in Dec asking what was going on. they said they were not destroyed in the storm the French army was staying there now and should be out by Feb 1 the they will re-furb and hope to re-open by May 1 latest June 1 go to the website Esmerelda4u.com there is a full explaination

It looks quite possible for may opening. Delightful looking area. Hope this helps. While driving around we have seen no evidence of Dutch or French military now.
