Are all the mega yachts back in the area for the season or are some of them somewhere else this year?

According to the local weekly newspaper, St Barth had 112 yachts/megayachts for New Years, down from 215 last year. That suggests that 50% of the yachts may not be around.

The Eclipse has been sitting out in front of Simpson Bay for the last couple of days and their big runabout dropped four or five people at the Aqua Mania dock last night about 5:30

Antigua is packed as are many spots down island. Also, the new marina in St Kitts is finally getting more boats. The Simpson Bay lagoon simply wasn't ready for all those boats. St Maarten is the most convenient place to keep a boat in the Caribbean so maybe next year will things will be back to normal
