My wife and I were at N Resort from 11/15 until 11/23. It was our first visit to Jamaica as well as our first visit to and all inclusive resort.

As many have reported before, the service is fantastic and the food is excellent. From our first day (Tuesday) until the end of the weekend, there were about 30 people. The last couple of days the number dropped off to about 12 or so.

We booked a garden view suite but were upgraded to an ocean front suite, so that was a great way to start our stay. The rooms are rustic but very clean and comfortable. We filled out our beverage request card and our frig was always stocked with what we wanted.

The weather was good but it was windy most days - there were only a couple of days where we could go in the ocean. We tried to walk down the beach a couple of times but the tide has to just right or you wind up walking in the water alot. Parts of the beach are very pretty but others have quite a bit of trash on them - it certainly isn't like Orient beach.

Not being able to go in the ocean wasn't a huge problem because the pool is the main attraction. Most spend much of the time in or around the pool - the volleyball games were fun, as were the water slide competitions. We played beach bocce a couple of times as well as testicle toss - always very competitive <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

During the early part of our stay breakfast was buffet-style but when the number of guests declined it was a al carte. Either way you could get whatever you wanted and it was excellent.

Lunch was always served at the grille by the pool and there were always plenty of specials - all of which were good.

Most nights dinner was in the main restaurant downstairs, the Italian restaurant was only open 2 nights. It didn't matter which restaurant we dined it, the service and food were excellent. We really enjoyed the buffet on Friday night - we got to experiment and try food we might otherwise not try - like curried goat (not bad). We were a little surprised that most people dressed for dinner, not a problem, just an observation. We generally wore coverups and certainly didn't feel out of place.

As I said early on, this was our first visit to an all inclusive resort and it certainly is a different experience. We had a wonderful time, but we prefer to do more exploring and enjoy going to different restaurants. But if we decide to do another AI trip, N Resort will be right at the top of the list.
