Hi all......not positive that I will be posting daily reports this year but I will try to write something at least every few days .

Day 1

Had a very easy and uneventful trip from Chicago, stopping in Charlotte in just enough time to walk to our gate, go to the restroom, and relax for a few minutes before boarding. We downloaded movies on our IPad and spent both plane rides watching them.....it made the trip go by much faster! The flight from Charlotte to SXM had a lot of empty seats, I was very surprised by I assume most people don't arrive on a Monday...
We rented a car from Angela at Horizon. She was waiting for us at the airport and greeted us with a warm welcome, walked us to our car, and we quickly filled out the paperwork. We also got a free upgrade, so that was nice!
We got to the Dove's Nest, changed our clothes quickly, and were off to Norm's party <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" /> had a great time, thanks Norm! We spent time talking to Dave and Adrianna and made tentative plans for a day sail and a sunset cruise. Looking forward to it!

Day 2

After my morning run, we went for a long walk in town and then spent the day relaxing on the beach. Last night, we went to Harmony Nights for our first time and had a great time trying the different foods the vendors were selling! Had a fabulous mojito at the Rainbow Cafe, and listened to some Reggae music before walking home. All in all, a great start to our three week stay!
