Barbados, Grenada & Sailing the Grenadines TRIP REPORT, PART ONE: BARBADOS!
June 9, 2012 Well, this is the shortest part one of a trip report ever! Our trip began flying out of Juneau on Saturday, 6/9. After three planes (JNU-SEA-MIA-BGI) we arrived on the sunny isle of Barbados mid-day on Sunday.
Our home for a short two nights was the Sandpiper Resort. What a fantastic property! They have a beautiful sandy beach, perfect swimming area, and are a very service oriented property. The location was perfect! A short walk, and you were in Holetown for shopping and dining. We quickly decided that two nights was too short of a stay. That being said, we enjoyed our two and a half days in Barbados and vowed to return – next time for a few more days.
