We awoke to a wonderful morning of bright sun as we headed to Mullet Bay Beach. This area used to look unappealing in the surrounding area but now looks very good. The added large rocks that align the road is great as it keeps people from driving on the golf course (ha-Ha). The pot holes are filled too. We stayed there in the waters for most of the morning hours and saw many fish close to the beach, some rather large angel fish and needle nose fish. It was when Rosie's smell of the grill hit us that we decided to leave and head back to our condo to eat. Spent the rest of the day that got cloudy at the pool. Sonesta next door had a pool party that appeared more like a Cancun springbreak of people. We tried to capture an evening sunset and it looked promising however as we were at Marty's Dream Bar it clouded but we did get a shot of the Full Moon shining from there. Marty is a complete "Hoot" he makes you crack up. My husband was even bartending there. The property Caravanserai appears at first glance nice and modern and new but still needs some work to be not to the buildings but to the surrounding property as the one pool needs a cleaning and there is an old beatup building right in front of their new expansion of construction. I hope they move those that live in that old beat up building into their new expanded condos and level that old building and make it a parking lot. It was an eyesore to see that after coming out of the lovely property. We actually got to take a tour from a couple that was at the Dream Bar, they showed us their unit. That was very kind of them. We visited Taste Factory for the deal on the island of pastries again of 8 for $6.00 after 5:00 PM. Dinner was at the hidden gem of Karaacter although not so hidden of a gem now as many go there. They now have a huge roof covering and larger umbrellas which went into use last evening as a shower past use briefly. They have very good tapas there and here is a sample of what we ordered: Fried Calamari, grouper fingers, chicken satay, garlic shrimp, mushrooms and chorizo, bunless mini burgers, brie and nut on a crostini, and the best was dates and cheese. It was a nice night. It cost 20 dollars for a plate of 4 tapas. There is live music there too, only on Friday evenings though.
Finished the evening at Casino Royale and gave them a small donation. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />
