A friend on mine says "laws are only guidlines" as he speeds down the road. I don't agree with that but some do.lol I once had a new postmaster tell me the same thing. "The contract is only a "guideline" and I can do what I want". A few grievances later (that the PO lost), he did come around.

We were often told, with regard to drinking ages on de islon, “if you’re old enough to climb onto the bar stool, you’re old enough to drink!” But it was said very much tongue in cheek and usually only by the bartender who had already thoroughly assessed the age situation of the person in question. Well, with a few exceptions, perhaps........
