Hello,
I need some advice from those who know the lay of the land (and sea).
Question 1: On Monday, March 18th I need to get my family of 4 from VG to JVD, and at the same time some friends of ours (ANOTHER family of 4) who are joining us need to go from Scrub Island to JVD. Should we be taking ferries/taxi's or is there a viable cost effective way to arrange a boat that would pick us all up and make that trip?
Question 2: On Thur, March 21st, this same group of 8 people fly out of EIS Tortola at 12:10 pm to San Juan. Given cost/convenience, how would you tackle this? Again, ferries and a cab ride?
Or with that large of a group, should we be considering our own boat?
Thank you in advance for your help!!

Hi Jeff, If you are on Virgin Gorda, then I would recommend chartering a boat from Bradley powerboats ( https://www.virgingordapowerboatrentals.com/) they offer a full day charter on a 28ft boat and 30ft boat for about 500-600$ and if your not comfortable captaining it yourself you can get a captain for 650-750$. As for your friends on Scrub you can pick them up on the way to JVD and drop them off on the way home! Bradley Powerboats is based out of Leverick Bay, I have chartered from them before and it was a great experience. Let me know if you have any further questions, happy to help! Cheers
