St. Maarten Musings 2
Mullet MagicIs it just me or are we all secretly wishing that Mullet Beach will never be rebuilt with high rise condos, timeshares and hotels? Right now it’s our own little piece of paradise and we spent several lovely days there.

I wandered down the beach and found a beautiful wedding taking pictures. It was a glorious day weather-wise and Mullet Beach was putting on a show.

Time for lunch and some of Rosie’s famous ribs. Everyone has their favorite ribs on the island and Rosie’s gets my vote. I always love visiting the man that BBQ’s them in the trees. As I looked at this picture back in Canada I thought, “What is that black slime all over my chest and under my chin?" Then it dawned on me. I had been visiting the BBQ man and it must have been the smoke interacting with my sunscreen. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

We went to Mullet right after the big Easter weekend and I’m happy to report that everything was tidy and pristine. There were a lot of black garbage bags being loaded into a big truck but everywhere I looked all the trash had been picked up. Hurray for the islanders and the tourists! Barbara C would be pleased.
Then it was time to settle in for our favorite view of the holiday. Sweet Bliss!
More Musings to come….
