It is actually being repaired, but will not return as a hotel. It will be apartments for rent the last time I spoke with the St. Martin Reservation Center. I believe these would be for long term rentals, though I'm not certain. But, Palm Court which is essentially right next door will be coming back soon (possibly next month) so that would be a good alternative. Easy walking distance to Orient Beach. If true, I'm amazed that they found this to be cost effective. There is no doubt that affordable housing for local workers is needed, but I'm amazed that this can be done at Alamanda. The required numbers make no sense to me.
