Day 9, Wednesday, was an even more lazy day, if that is possible. Had breakfast in. Lunch was just cheese, apple and crackers on the pool deck and we spent the day either in the pool or in the salt water. Our last dinner was going to be a return visit to Sale & Pepe but that didn’t happen.

I believe Bran mentioned traffic going into Simpson Bay. Not sure that covers it! Car were backed up around the bridge circle and down Airport Rd almost to Bobby’s Marina! When we finally made it to the bridge we turned back and went to Mario’s Bistro instead. We had a good meal there and enjoyed it.

Yesterday we were up early to pack up. Had some coffee looking out at the beautiful water wondering Where the He!! time went. Walked down to El Zafiro for some breakfast and sat staring out at the beautiful water a bit longer.

Then it was off to the airport...time to head home. The airport experience wasn’t bad at all. After all the years locked into Saturday Travel, mid week travel is relatively painless. Boarded Delta 300 on time and had a smooth flight with an early arrival. Back home about 8:15. Nothing to do except unpack, do laundry, food shop and pay bills! Reality will set in quickly.

Thank you all for the advice. Thank you to Leslie from Kenny’s, Jeanie at Shop and Drop, Craig from Pack Light and special thank you to Beachside Villas for an enjoyable stay.

Thank you all who took the time to read my ramblings.

Rick

Is it just me or are others hearing the thank you notes music from Jimmy Fallon's show, lol? Thanks for the reports. I think that traffic you spoke of was just to warm you up for the LIE, a.k.a. the world's longest parking lot.

LIE maybe the worlds 2nd longest parking lot, but the M25 Motorway around London has it beat by 46 miles LOL :-)

Thanks for your reports, I really enjoyed reading them. I thought someone said in another post the Craig from Pack Light was no longer doing that business.

It was me but I was talking about the Phone Rentals.

Neither Craig or Jeanie are renting phones any longer. However Pack Light and Craig are up and running like before. Great service

Thank you for all the trip reports, they were a pleasure to read. Glad you were able to enjoy BSV. It truly is a wonderful place to stay. The more you are there, the more you just want to stay there and do nothing else. Just love the mornings there on the deck, there's nothing better.
