A gas truck exploded outside of white swan restaurant injuring 2. They were refilling gas bottles for cooking. I wonder if these bottles were out of date for certification to be refilled. Just a reminder to check your bbq gas tanks to make sure they are. Gas companies aren't supposed to refill expired tanks but oftentimes do and this can happen.

Different (if any) laws or regulations than is the US or your state. Most places in my area will NOT refill if expired but they will inspect and re-certify if possible.

It was from the truck big tank and not small bottles.

Article I read said they were filling a small bottle and that is what exploded. Was article wrong? News sometimes get it wrong.

I doubt a restaurant would use a #20 propane tank.
