We have been going to Hidden Beach Resort about once a year over the past 10 years and usually have a great time. We joined the Exotic Travelers club when we first started to go as it took about 30% off the 'list price". This year I have noted the prices have dramatically increased. A year ago a 2nd floor room over the summer would range from $350 to $400 per couple and now the same rooms are $600 per night which is crazy. Furthermore the swim up rooms are not available even 6 months out meaning that Exotic is holding on to those for those who are willing to pay full price outside of the club. When there is a 'sale', Hidden Beach is not included. Perhaps this is because they have become a bit of monopoly for nude resorts.
I would caution people to stay far away from the Exotic Travelers Club and would hope they re-think their pricing. We will be looking at other options this year.
So sorry they have priced you out of a favorite resort. Prices are increasing all over down here. If you like a real Caribbean type getaway, old style, you might want to visit Playa Sonrisa in Xcalak. Very near the Cruise port of Costa Maya and Majuhal
