The people who run for office are able to win elections because they pull the wool over the public’s eyes . There has to be oversight on all politicians they also should have to show all income records for years before and every year after being elected bank accounts ,tax accounts and everything that pertains to there wealth .
It’s sad to think that after they received country status no government has lasted more than 1 year due to graft and corruption some of these politicians see away to steel money that was for the benefit of the people , just plain old greed

Agreed. With regard to Emmanuel's situation, if I read the statement from his party leader correctly, she says that what he did -- presumably including giving long lease rights to his chief of staff, and other members of his staff -- was perfectly fine under SXM law. Daily Herald story She says the purpose of the arrest was to interfere with the formation of the new government.
