Hi. I have received some great advice about rental agents but am hoping some folks who are frequent travelers will be able to recommend some villas on Grenada from personal experience. I've been told that most people stay in hotels instead of doing the self catering thing, but we are really looking for a safe, nice place (with pool and view! of course!).
As some have seen, I'm worried about the weather going into Sept and Oct, but for now just need some insights as we have never been before.
We have been to the USVI and are also considering St John or BVI but again, seems the farther north you go, fall could be too big of a gamble with the weather, rain, storms and the "h" word!
So...help all!
Thanks!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

The A,B,C islands are out of the so-called hurricane belt. Have you considered any of them? Great places to vacation.

Thanks! And Yes, considered Aruba (heard over-rated), Curacao (heard the beaches are really rocky and terrain very dry, not very tropical feel) and Bonaire... ah, Bonaire. Seems almost impossible to get there from here (planes, trains and automobiles!). So, staying as far south as possible lead me to Grenada! smile

Sorry I can't offer a personal recommendation; we are in Grenada on our boat. However I have found the site www.grenadaexplorer.com to have some very nice properties listed, as well as offering other helpful info.
