If they are going to do crowd-funding, why not do it to feed those who are becoming homeless, or having utilities shut off, or not having enough to eat? While I agree that Christmas decorations are lovely, and while there are many who live in town and would enjoy the decorations there, as well as plenty of guests who stay in and visit the Maho area, I agree with Linda completely. So many people are hurting this year of 2020 - in need of food to exist day to day as well as medical supplies and other tangible goods, not to mention the financial wherewithal to cover their rent and utilities. And perhaps even holiday gifts for their children. Personally speaking I would far prefer to see this years decoration donation resources be used to those ends. But I’m just a another visitor and what do I know?!
Respectfully,
pat
