Do travelers from Ireland fall under the 14 day UK Quarantine?

I don’t believe Ireland is part of the UK. Northern Ireland is officially in the UK. The entire UK quarantine is a mystery as they have one of the lowest covid rates in the world currently.

Monk... I don't know if you mean the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. It matters because the rules are different. In Northern Ireland (currently part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), no leisure travel is allowed at the moment. The rules are scheduled to change on the 17th May when a list of Red, Amber or Green countries will be announced. If Red, you can't go. If Amber you can go but will have to self-isolate for 10 days and have a couple of tests. If Green there is no isolation on return, just a couple of tests.

In the Republic of Ireland, the rules are defined here... https://www.dfa.ie/travel/travel-advice/coronavirus/general-covid-19-travel-advisory/ .
