we had an uneventful charter from boston to sxm arriving at 9:30 am.leslie from kennys car rental met us at the airport with a nearly new corolla.we took care of the paper work in the car..much better than using budget on previous trips.spent the week at cap caraibes for the second time.excellent accomadations..large clean bright room w/kitchenette! went directly to our favorite bar, bikini beach, and were greeted by our favorite bartender, laura. she and kelly kept us very happy with drinks of all kinds all week we spent most of the week on orient beach sufferring from sand gravity! we took the tiko tiko to tintamarre on tuesday with 4 other couples...turned out to be one of the best days ever for us on sxm the day was spent with wonderful company and the food, drink and service provided by phillip and phillippe was excellent!!!for dining,we skipped all of our old faves.we ate at spiga..outstanding;le cottage..outstanding;l'auberge gourmande...very good. also went out with tiko tiko group to cheris for dinner and show. the show was fun, but food left much to be desired.sandy had a bikini made by luis from behind pedros. he fitted her at noon and had the suit ready noon the next day.excellent suit will have another made next trip! spent thursday a.m. shopping. went to dk gems to meet deepti only to find that she was home preparing for her vacation.good news was that kamal took very good care of us as ttol users. we ended up trading a tanzanite bracelet for a gorgeous diamond bracelet. kamal gave us full value for the tanzanite, then sized the new piece and had jeff deliver it to us at o.b....thank you kamal and jeff.
