I don't understand the need to show evidence of a negative test AND a completed vaccination record.....it should be one OR the other (I know the vaccine card is not a go yet) . Sounds like it would be easier to say you didn't get the vaccine and just submit the test results.

Bluesfan--incorrect.. If your test is at noon on Monday, 24 hours is noon on Tuesday, 48 hours is noon on Wednesday, 72 hours is noon on Thursday, 96 hours is noon on Friday and 120 hours is noon on Saturday. So, if you test at noon on Monday, and your last flight leaves the US bound for SXM before noon on Saturday, then the test is timely.

Everyone taking the cruise, both passengers and ship personnel, need to be fully vaccinated so they need proof of that, hence the card upload. SXM still has the requirement that all arriving passengers must supply a negative PCR test result before receiving pre-approval for entering the country, hence the need for a negative test result. Airlines are checking for the negative PCR test results before they allow passengers flying to SXM to board, it will be interesting if they start asking for verification of vaccination.
Be Happy! Simply because you deserve to be. 😁

I just assumed that everyone arriving at PJIA everyday of the week were not all there to take a cruise. The vaccine docs should be the cruise company responsibility and not airport personnel . So my opinion is different...it has no purpose at PJIA RIGHT NOW.

bluesfan--The OFFICIAL rule is still 120 hours, according to the official SXM website. Link

Not sure why folks don’t get this. That would have been my Plan B had Plan A not worked. If there's a glitch with the antigen test 48 hours out, you are SOL.
