Interested in what the folks think about a sea level bicycle path abound Virgin Gorda. This would go from South Sound (where my villa is) to Little Dix in the valley and be built at sea level around the Caribbean side of Virgin Gorda. Not the Drake Channel\. It would be a spectacular bike ride. Probably one of the best in the world.

South Sound will undergo major changes in the next 2 years. Paved roads, first covered small boat storage on Virgin Gorda, farming throughout South Sound with produce being sold, a sea level walkway between the villas at South Sound, a beach cleaning machine and tractor is being brought in to keep the beach clean.

As far as the bike path, is this something you would use or enjoy? My intention is to improve Virgin Gorda for all to enjoy.

Sounds like a great project Thorsten - we'd use it.

Doesn't seem possible on the south side of the mountain from South Sound to Savannah Bay - too steep! Maybe some how on the north side below Hog Heaven, but I doubt it!

Yes, on the south side of the mountain, steep yes, but it can be built and it will be a fabulous ride.
