National Hurricane Center 8 AM advisoryhas tropical storm warnings issued for Puerto Rico and the USVI, but nothing for the BVI. Still, a good day to hunker down somewhere!

Starting to get a few squalls and wind gusts here. Not really expecting much to come out of this. Looks like it's going to be too far south to impact Tortola much.

From what I've heard this storm is not affecting the BVI much. Anyone there who can let us know the conditions?

Overcast all day. A few heavy showers and wind gusts. Nothing much to speak of but the cooler weather is a nice change. 78F before sunset in August. We don't get that very often.
