3 miles to the west from St John on Great St James Island we picked up one of the 24 free moorings placed by the Department of the Interior to protect the coral from damage. Christmas Cove offers good protection from weather and swells. The water is immaculate and clear with abundant sea life and a undeveloped shoreline. Before the camera came out we watched spotted rays and turtles popping up all around. gopro snorkel video http://aleta-53.smugmug.com/Other/V...4_VWRHNN#!i=3138546151&k=NMnh3Dn

Wow! We were there yesterday, too. Saw a bunch of garden eels, one of my favorite creatures. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />
