We went there for dinner tonight.
But first a little rant.
Julliettes is right beside our villa so on our way back to have lunch we stopped and asked the waitress on the patio if we could make reservations for 7 tonight and was told you don't need to you will get in. So we left it at that. We showed up at 7:15 and the first thing the gentleman said at the entrance was "Do you have a reservation" The street level patio was full where the musician was playing and we were offered a table on the side facing the Red Piano. I was ready to leave. We sat down and ordered a drink and within a few minutes we were seated on the lower patio. What saved the dinner was Chad our server, I gave a 15% tip on the bill and him a little extra. Thanks Chad.
Now to the meal I had escargot and it was very good and for and entre I had Steak Cafe de Paris which was served with butter garlic and herbs with potatoes and vegetables. The dinner was very good. My wife had Julliette's Chicken Breast stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach with a mango sauce. She said the sauce made the dish.
Tomorrow is another day.

Glad you were able to get in after all. Sounds like a nice evening. What kind of music do they play there?

He was a horn player (sorry don't know what kind) and a singer. He played early soft Eric Clapton classics and was very good and you could talk to each other at the table. We tipped him before we left.

Sounds like my kind of music. I hate it when the music is so loud you can't talk to each other.

Sorry about the reservation gaff but looks like all turned out well. Food looks good and the place is very handy to where your staying. Hope you like the room your in.

I have a rant also. When we were there in February we stopped in one night about 7:30 with another couple without a reservation. The patio was about 2/3’s full. We were seated. We wanted to order two large pizzas & four glasses of wine. We were told they only serve personal pizza. Despite being on the menu & a picture of a family enjoying one on their website we were told large pizza was only for room service. I said ok make it room service. We can eat on our own patio. The waiter said your kidding right. I said no the joke is on you, you just lost a nice tip. I forget, he wanted to know if we wanted the wine as take out. Needless to say we never went back. The pizza is excellent , we did have room service a few more times during our five week stay.
