Anyone ever been to this resort and the c/o portion of the private island. Thought we might try something new? Thanks, Doug

OK, I guess I need to keep up more, as I didn't think any of the Sandals had any nude beaches..

In doing a little research on your question for about 20 minutes online using Google searches, it looks like there is a small clothing optional beach on the back side (facing away from the main resort) of the "Private Island" at that resort.
Various reports on several different travel sites report between four and fourteen chairs set up in that area, and that is a secluded area set aside for those wanting to work on their all-over tan and to skinny dip.
The bulk of the Private Island appears to be "bottoms required" from the reports I read, with "European Topless" being accepted.
If anyone has first-hand experience there please comment.
This might be a case of Sandals "testing the water" with a small scale c/o area available at one of their resorts... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

We went back in the day and overall it was okay. Sandals has a "tier" pricing system which can make the vacation more costly. As with many chains, they have a loyal following with some couples.
As far as the island, it is NOT Couples Tower Island. The clothing optional area was very small, off to the left, and not widely used. I guess some are unaware of the clothing optional nature of the island as one woman was flabbergasted to find me sunning without a suit and later attempted to sneak pictures. Others walking around the island can almost literally walk over you as they tour the island. Mrs Diggler was not comfortable disrobing in that environment.
As an aside, over drinks later that night, the sneaky photographer shared with us that there were "naked people" over on that island...
We never returned. The main resort is nice, we met some nice people, and the food was above average. We wanted to try something different which is why we went. IMO, Couples has far superior nude (not clothing optional) facilities in Jamaica.
