AA has canceled the 9:30 AM flight from Miami leaving only a flight that gets into STT at 2:15 PM, too late to make the 2:30PM ferry. Sucks

AA has an 8:35 from Miami that gets you into STT at 12:21.

Nothing on the schedule for the next few weeks

Our CLT-MIA-STT flight has changed 2 times in the last month and I expect more changes though the return flight is now direct from STT-CLT but our flight down is now too late to make the ferry so will have to look a water taxi to JVD which adds a lot of cash to the hole journey. We will see where this ends up...I am watching flights to see if we can get there a day early and just hang out in USVI for a day then leave first thing in the am. Expect this to get worse before it gets better.

Yep, got us too! Direct CLT to STT got changed to a connection through JFK! 😡

So far so good here. Nov CLT-STT has only had minor changes. Minutes not hours. But I am expecting this could blow up any day. Airline travel is crazy right now.

Keep in mind that most of the flight cancelations are at the regional level. The major airlines are catching up with replacing all the pilots they retired early in a covid panic. The question is will they continue to over schedule or match capacity with actual ability. Stats are actually quite good at the moment with most cancelations being caused by ATC restrictions.
