There are is an app on bvipirate.com that is useful for watching these weather systems. bvipirate.com/noaa has all of the NOAA weather advisory graphics, and allows you to scroll backward and forward in them to see how they have changed over time. You can also have it play an animated loop. There is another app on bvipirate.com that plays a loop of the tropical storm advisory graphics for any storm since 2002.
