Thinking of taking a late flight from San Juan to beef island, spending the night and then taking the first ferry to virgin Gorda. What is the closest and nicest place to stay for 1 night? We usually fly direct to virgin Gorda with cape air but the airfare is just getting crazy. Could even look into a charter instead at cape air prices. Thanks for any suggestions.

Looks nice but maybe something closer to the airport?

Macaroni- Lambert beach is pretty close to the airport. It is where I usually stay the night before flying out of beef. Not many other options that are nice. its a 15 min cab ride at the most.

Scrub would be closer, but not cheap. Unfortunately the Beef Island guest house is no more. The last ferry to VG from Trellis is pretty late. Can't you get an early morning flight and connect on Silver or InterCaribbean? For many years we overnighted in San Juan, although hotels there have gotten very expensive, too.

Will look at the ferry schedule again….maybe will stay in San Juan and just fly to Beef Island early and take an earlier ferry over to VG. Thanks for the suggestions.
