Looks like all 4 jetways have been extended.

Thanks for the updates. Will be so exciting when they are in use.

Thanks for the updates. But if all the airlines schedule their flights to arrive and leave in a two or three hour window, won't the majority of passengers still end up being schlepped out to their flights on busses? Even before the hurricane, that seemed to happen to me regularly

tim--that happens on the weekend, yes. Then the availability of jetways depends on which airline you fly. AA and Air France almost always get jetways.

It was a long time way before Irma that our flights didn't have a Jetway with AA.

Say what? AA from Miami ALWAYS had a jetway, pre Irma.

As I said it was a long time before Irma we DIDN'T always have them. As long as I can remember we always did pre Irma.

Nah, Scuba, that's not what you said to begin with. But OK

Just have to reread it. It's what I said.

1983 - no jetways, long line in open air under outer belly of airport. I passed out or close to it from the heat a few times!

The newer of the ‘old airports’ was crazy. I had a child that came very close to passing out in the cramped and hot environs with each arrival. It became such a regular thing we started packing damp facecloths packed with ice cubes to put on her neck and forehead before she went down. The airco was nonexistent and the ceiling fans were totally ineffective. Oh, the price we paid for time in Paradise.

Respectfully,

pat
