tim--that happens on the weekend, yes. Then the availability of jetways depends on which airline you fly. AA and Air France almost always get jetways.

The newer of the ‘old airports’ was crazy. I had a child that came very close to passing out in the cramped and hot environs with each arrival. It became such a regular thing we started packing damp facecloths packed with ice cubes to put on her neck and forehead before she went down. The airco was nonexistent and the ceiling fans were totally ineffective. Oh, the price we paid for time in Paradise.
