Looks like we are going to come home earlier this next May trip. Even though we have our timeshare for 4 weeks at the Flamingo we're going to come back a few days earlier in that 4th week. Got a fantastic price of 640.87 for FC returning through MIA midweek getting home same day and wife said "book it Dano". So I did only because we'll be returning for a 3 week stay 32 days later. Shame our unit will stand vacant till end of that week but maybe a weather related airline cancelation will force us to stay. 😉🤞

We always come home on Friday after our 4 weeks. Always a savings over Saturday. What is the occasion of your second trip? Isn’t that unusual for you?

It's a make up trip we missed during the covid island closure for would have been our 50th and daughter's 20. Now it'll be our 54th and their 24th. We'll be arriving a day before their anniversary and a week after ours. Special times for us and them as they were married on island in 2000.

We are cutting our three week vacation two days early, because of the ridiculous airline prices for that weekend (April 6) not sure why, but it was double for that day vs the thursday...so we'll sacrifice.

The other option is to extend until the price drops. We base our trips on air fare, lodging figured after that. If we have to move we are fine, hence we have stayed in about 37 different buildings on island. It is a trek for us from the mighty Pacific NW, so we make it worth the trip. Another note, we paid more six years ago than we are paying for our next trip, both in the big seats. It has been higher on average but what isn't?

I prefer the Isle seat
