We will be on Explora 1 (lux cruise ship. 900 passengers) and docking in VG. Don’t want the baths (BTDT). Any beach we could go to with facilities? Or any way to get over to Saba to hang and have drinks? Or Leverick? (Is there a beach there? Or just restaurant and shops?) We’ve chartered BVI a few times so would love to do something off the beaten path. There from 8-6 so a decent amount of time.
Thanks for any advice!

There are no other beaches with facilities that I know of. Leverick has a TINY beach and pool. Your best bet might be taxi-ing or rent a vehicle to get to Gun Creek or Leverick where free ferries run to Saba and back every hour or so. Inquire locally or call them for more exact timing of the ferries.

As KMON mentioned there are no beaches with facilities (thank goodness). Leverick does not have a beach (only a small strip of sand by the marina). Saba does not have a beach either, FYI, BEYC kind of does.

You won't be docking- cruise ships anchor off VG either near Spring Bay area or North Sound. Do you know where you will be tendering ashore? With that port time you should be able to do quite a bit! There is a beach at BEYC but water entry is pretty rocky and there aren't many beach chairs. But food is good and they do a fun happy hour. Watersports are available too. I would choose BEYC over Saba any day but you have enough time to do both. If you want to do something truly different have you looked into the Nature Tour over to Necker? You have the time.

Thank you all! It says Spanish town on the itinerary. I assumed it was tendering. We’ve been to Saba and BEYC and Leverick all on a charter (Leverick we did Michael beans so I don’t recall beach facilities lol). We love a good happy hour all day so that works too.
I didn’t think about necker. Is that the gumption excursion?

Beyc happy hour is 3-5 but of course you can hang all day if you choose. Yes, the Nature (Necker) Tour by Gumption. Highly recommended for something different!

When we did the Necker Tour with Gumption, there was no beach time. It was an interesting tour, focused on the island infrastructure and the animals.
Call Little Dix Bay. Over the years, we would go for lunch and the spa (friends, we did the beach). Be prepared to pay $$$$$$ but it is very good food and very relaxing.

Savannah Bay or Spring Bay, perhaps rent a car rather than get a taxi. No facilities at either though. Speedy’s is right by the ferry dock, although we usually rent from Mahogany. If you make arrangements Puck will meet you at the dock and do the paperwork there. From Savannah, I’d head up to Hog Heaven or Sugarcane restaurant for lunch. Both have great views, and Sugarcane has a pool. I like the food at Sugarcane (as of last March) a bit better but others love Hog Heaven. I think you can get to the beach from Sugarcane as well, just have not done it before.
