That's the glass half-empty analysis. Our cistern was just emptied and repaired, so bring on the rain!

We have put a lot of effort (and expense) into preparing for hurricane season. Every door and window has heavy marine ply shutters bolstered with heavy duty custom stainless hardware. Trees with rot have been removed and burned. A mixer with special concrete was barged in to rebuild our snorkeling dock. After 50+ years, we know there is no guarantee, but we've done everything possible.

I'm going to guess that we see Tropical Storm Ernesto and 45mph to 50mph winds on Wednesday. Enough for me to haul my dinghy!
